She has experience working in libraries and currently works as an academic advisor in the College of Communication and Information at the University of Kentucky. She has a graduate certificate in career services and a master’s in communication from Western Kentucky University and a master’s in library science from the University of Kentucky. She is in her second term as a professional development coordinator for the advising network, a grassroots organization for advising at the University of Kentucky.
