Webinar: Libraries After COVID: Managing Issues Now That They're Our Daily Routine

Originally presented July 27, 2022

While we have struggled for the past two years with many critical issues, the very heart of our work - connecting with our patrons - has been threatened daily.

For almost two years, we have grappled with temporary access and technology issues, our own health and safety, user well-being and public safety, minimizing conflict, and maintaining our accountability, value, and worth.

As we look to our new future, post-pandemic library needs go far beyond new or flexible designs for floorplans and facilities. Instead - with the reality that very few of us can completely redesign, remodel, purchase all new furniture or build anew - library managers and leaders must look at the entire organization to create a viable operation.

Join Julie Todaro to learn about information and choices for moving the post-pandemic library forward. Julie explains where many organizations got it wrong, five primary focuses for management, leadership dos and don'ts, the top twelve things to do overall, and the first ten things you should do tomorrow!
